In some countries, such as Israel, drip irrigation technology has succeeded in increasing water use efficiency, enabling sustainable agriculture even in drought-prone areas. The availability of information and education for farmers is also an important aspect. Empowerment programs that educate farmers about water conservation techniques and sustainable agriculture can help communities be more adaptive to the impacts of drought. With the right knowledge, farmers will be able to manage resources more wisely. Climate change that causes drought also has social and political impacts. Tensions between countries over limited water resources can create conflict. Countries that depend on the same rivers and lakes are at risk of disputes over water management. Therefore, international cooperation is very necessary to maintain global food stability and security. It is important for each country to develop mitigation and adaptation policies to deal with this drought. Investment in agricultural infrastructure and environmentally friendly technology must be a priority so that food security is maintained amidst increasing climate challenges.
